I’m so excited to be playing a mischievous elf in our horror escape room for the month of December!
I get to mess with guests like a naughty elf on a shelf would irl. Not only do I catch humans and steal them away from the group, but also may interrupt to snack on fairies, hide things or just randomly harass in a naughty elf fashion. This live actor special event is equal parts creepy, suspenseful and goofy, which is in line with the tone of 13th Basement. If you want to experience this unique immersive event be sure to book the “Naughty Elf” version of the 13th Basement before the end of December. Since the game has been Christmas-fied the non-actor option is Christmas at 13th Basement.

Exit Game presents a special event live-performer version of “The 13th Basement” Escape Room; “Naughty Elf” available on select weekend evenings through the end of December.
Anaheim, CA – The 13th Basement escape room is a parody of old school horror escape rooms. The storyline is an escape room enthusiast who also happens to be a serial killer has built what he believes to be the perfect escape room including popular tropes such as blacklight and directional locks. For the month of December he has been filled with the holiday spirit and decorated the escape game with rather odd Christmas decor. The more traditional experience “Christmas at 13th Basement” offers this creepy holiday-themed escape room adventure where players navigate a serial killer’s lair dressed with twisted festive decor.
But on select weekend evenings, the stakes are raised with the arrival of the mischievous Naughty Elf. This live performer will join the game to wreak havoc, creating unique interactions and unpredictable challenges. The Naughty Elf will be portrayed by professional actors including Christine Barger (iCarly, Barry, Night Court). The actors will use their strong improvisation skills to create unique and customized moments with the players.
