When I arrived at Big Wave Carwash on media night, I was excited by the creative blend of holiday and haunted themes. The area around the car wash was decorated with eerie, glowing lights, and ghostly figures were hiding in the bushes and trees. In the spirit of the season, there were also twinkling Christmas lights strung around the space, adding a cheerful, festive touch to the otherwise spooky ambiance.
As I waited in line, creepy Christmas tunes played through our car from radio station 100.7 FM. It set the perfect tone for the evening—playful yet a little unsettling, with a sense of anticipation building as each car ahead of me disappeared into the wash tunnel.
When it was my turn, I was ready for whatever eerie surprises awaited me! As we slowly drove through the entrance route and into the wash tunnel, I knew that it was not just a typical car wash. There were fog machines, giant inflatables, and scareactors both outside and INSIDE the tunnel.
The wash itself was as thorough and effective as you’d expect from a top-tier carwash. It’s a cool twist: you’re not just getting a fun haunted experience, but also a clean car at the end!
The Holiday Haunted Carwash is family-friendly. While the scares aren’t too intense the event still offers a good dose of spooky fun for adults and kids that like spooky season. It’s an experience that taps into both the joy of the holidays and the thrill of haunted attractions.
