Delusion The Red Castle Review: A Masterclass in Immersive Horror

The Red Castle

Delusion, the pioneering immersive horror experience, has once again raised the bar. This year’s installment catapults into my top 3 Delusions of all time. The synergy of space, storytelling, and personalized interactions created an unforgettable night. Delusion The Red Castle is an unforgettable experience. Get ready to enter Jon Braver’s unique world of horror and thrills in collaboration with 13th Floor Entertainment Group.

Standout Moments

  • A Shining-esque scene with just one other participant and an actor left me breathless.
  • Seven personalized interactions (two major, five minor) made the experience feel uniquely mine.

Practical Considerations

  • Wear comfortable shoes; be prepared for numerous stairs and uneven ground.
  • Layers recommended; cooling down during intense moments was challenging.
  • Arrive early to find street parking downtown and enjoy a drink & cheesecake on a stick before the show.
  • Be aware some triggering topics you may experience include death, mental health, medical care, mysticism and guns.
  • Not wheelchair accessible due to stairs.

Opening Weekend Notes

  • Technical difficulties caused some delays, but our show was issue-free.
