As the crisp autumn air sets in (thank goodness this heat wave is ending) Whittier Narrows Park transforms into an enchanting pumpkin wonderland courtesy of Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. This year’s event, running from September 20th to November 2nd, promises a beautiful experience featuring thousands of hand-carved jack o’lanterns, mesmerizing light displays, and activities for all ages. I personally love this event. It’s the perfect relaxing way to ring in Fall.

Upon entering the illuminated trail, I was struck by the sheer scale and artistry of the pumpkin displays. Celebrity jack o’lanterns, pirate ships, and dragons illuminated in vivid detail, while the projection haunted house delivers a fun experience. The attention to detail is impressive, with bubbles floating in the air in underwater scenes and fake snow in winter scenes, it was a uniquely immersive atmosphere.
