Sweet Screams is a scary stand alone walk through haunt in Yucaipa CA. I went with my husband and they had us go in just the two of us. It’s inside of a very cool building that used to be a bank. They have some really clever moments like the opening scene where you are separated and enter into the experience in a unique way I haven’t seen done since pre-pandemic. They use tight spaces frequently to give a sense of claustrophobia. It was definitely uncomfortable as a full figured woman fitting through some of the spaces, I’m not sure if they are as effective on smaller guests. The actors worked very hard screaming and popping out often. The nuns were my favorite use of actors and effects. They were especially effective in their scare as was the room with the young lady in the bed. The haunt took under 10 minutes to get through once we were greeted by our first scare actor and let in. They have a food truck and vendors in the parking lot. Parking is free. If you’re in the area definitely check them out!
If you are coming from Los Angeles area or farther I recommend heading out early and stopping at Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Farm first. It’s a large pumpkin patch with a lot of food vendors, alcohol on site, rides, games, petting zoo, singing animatronic chickens and of course pumpkins. Then swing by the horror coffee shop Roast The Dead on the way.
There is also a haunted hayride in the area that wasn’t open the weekend we attended but might be another event to add if you’re driving a distance to go.
Note: There are no photos or videos allowed inside the haunt.

SPOILERS AHEAD (accessibility)
This haunt doesn’t accommodate seizures or mobility issues including wheelchairs, canes, crutches, casts, etc. They have lighting effects that could trigger seizures. They also have an airbag tunnel that is completely full and I struggled to push my way through so much I felt pain in my bad knee.
I would also not recommend it for anyone with severe shoulder, back, knee, ankle, balance, claustrophobia or mental health issues such as being germaphobic specifically because of the airbag tunnel and the opening coffin room.
Disclosure: I was invited by Black Casket Productions and given free fast pass tickets.
