A Halloween Carol reimagines Dickens’ classic as an uncanny, interactive dreamscape where familiar ghosts have changed, forgotten Halloweens flicker back to life, and Marley is looking for you.
Jacob Marley once returned from the dead to save Ebenezer Scrooge’s soul. Two centuries years later, his chains are still rattling.
But this time….he has business with YOU.
Inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, A Halloween Carol is an original immersive, interactive theatrical experience that takes Dickens’ beloved ghost story out of Christmas Eve and into the strange, shadowy world of Halloween.
You’ll play yourself, or the version of yourself you think you know. Jacob Marley descends upon you with a thunderous warning and hurtles you into the Past, Present, and Future of your own life.
Step through the door and the familiar slips sideways. You’ll cross paths with spirits of an altogether different sort, revisit half-remembered Halloweens, and find yourself suspended somewhere between memory and dream.
As you traverse time and space from one handcrafted world to another, all five of your senses will drag you deeper into the spirits’ uncanny design.
But beware: these are not the Spirits of Christmas. The ghosts you encounter have stories of their own that you may uncover along the way.
Take heed, for if you fail Marley’s directive, something far worse than death awaits you at evening’s end.
“A Halloween Carol”combines the intimacy of immersive theatre with the mischievous pleasures of Halloween: mystery & surprise, laughter and scares, autumn nostalgia and things lurking in the fog.The result is playful and eerie, funny and frightening, and steeped in the unease of a childhood fever dream.

Come with a date. Or your best friend. Or do as Jacob Marley himself recommends: come alone and share the journey with someone you’ve never met. Traveling through the spirit world is a fine way of making new friends.
