Trailblazer Productions Announces a Journey Into the VOID
New theatrical experience invites audiences on an existential trip through the fabric of time, space and self.
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2024) – VOID, a mysterious new immersive experience from Trailblazer Productions, launches this May in Los Angeles, running Fridays and Saturdays May 3-25 with three showtimes each evening. Small audiences of no more than three individuals per performance will get to enter Portal C19 and experience the VOID. Located in the Studio City area (exact location is revealed upon ticket purchase) guests will be guided on an intimate and interactive exploration of the nature of existence.
What is VOID about? The show is based on the premise that an intergalactic agency oversees all timelines, dimensions and worlds that exist in the universe. This entity known as the Department of Cosmic Affairs is in charge of maintaining balance and proper calibration of these realms. Having witnessed the increasing disorder and chaos in the Earth realm, they have assigned several Advisors to assist traveling souls on Earth through a process of realignment.
What should guests expect when they enter the VOID? “This is a show that encourages participation and a willingness to interact,” says VOID creator, Ben Cox. “It is essentially a meeting with a being from another realm that has come to assist with your recalibration amidst the chaos on Earth. It’s not about massive lighting or set design. It’s not a walkthrough or anything like that. It should feel like you’re entering into a place that sits outside space and time. Ultimately, VOID is about connectivity and exploration of identity.”
Described as “a mindfulness experience wrapped in a theatrical story” VOID aims to engage and inspire people on a personal level. “I sometimes say this show is like life’s breakroom,” says Cox. “For 45 minutes you get a reprieve from the outside world and the life you know. You get an opportunity to check in with yourself and really explore where you’ve been, where you are now and where you wish to go from here. I hope the experience allows people to feel seen and heard and helps them feel empowered to build the life they wish to live.”
