Live Oak Canyon Farm, famously known as Southern California’s largest pumpkin patch with over 70 family-friendly attractions, is taking a dark and thrilling turn this fall. For the 2026 Halloween season, the farm introduces its newest and most ambitious addition to date: The Hollow Haunted Maze.
Operating on select dates throughout October, The Hollow marks the farm’s official foray into high-concept horror. Billed with the chilling promise—“You know the farm. You don’t know The Hollow”—the attraction flips the familiar daytime venue into an eerie walk-through experience.
The Lore: Ancient Land Wakes Up
Unlike standard haunted houses, Live Oak Canyon has framed the concept around the deep, mysterious history of the canyon floor itself: “The ground here has always been restless. Something beneath it has been waiting patient as the roots of the oldest oak in the canyon. It does not knock. It does not ask. Every October, it simply rises.”
The Hollow is designed as a hybrid attraction, threading a corn maze path directly through immersive, tented rooms filled with detailed sets and live scare actors. Guests will navigate shifting paths where familiar farmland gives way to something far older and darker than the harvest.
