Hey, haunt lovers! If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you won’t want to miss the final weekend of the Monsters Exhibit of Horrors at the Santa Monica Art Museum. Located on the iconic Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, this exhibit is a must-visit for anyone who loves all things spooky and kooky.

I had the pleasure of visiting the exhibit on Christmas Eve, and I was blown away by the sheer creativity and attention to detail on displays. The exhibit features a wide range of interactive art installations, monster sculptures, and even a coffin ride (yes, you read that right – a coffin ride!).

But what really sets this exhibit apart is its educational component. As you make your way through the various displays, you’ll learn about the lore and history of different cultures through their monsters and cryptids. From the Japanese Ningen to the Slavic Baba Yaga, you’ll discover the fascinating stories behind these legendary creatures.

The exhibit also features a selection of horror movies playing in the theatre, adding to the overall atmosphere of unease and excitement.

Overall, I highly recommend the Monsters Exhibit of Horrors at the Santa Monica Art Museum. It’s a unique and unforgettable experience that’s sure to delight haunt enthusiasts and art lovers alike. So don’t miss your chance to experience it- head on down to the Santa Monica Art Museum this weekend!
