Spine-tingling Night at All Saints Lunatic Asylum (Review)

As the spooky season descends upon Apple Valley, California, thrill-seekers flock to the most terrifying haunts. One of my favorite desert experiences is the standalone fear fest that is All Saints Lunatic Asylum. This chilling attraction promises an unforgettable night of horror, and I’m excited to share my eerie encounter.

Located in the High Desert of California, All Saints Lunatic Asylum’s abandoned asylum setting provides the perfect backdrop for a haunting experience. Upon arrival, my husband and I were greeted by menacing actors outside next to a hearse waiting by the entrance, setting the tone for a night of frights.

As we waited in line, old Halloween cartoons added a touch of nostalgia and foreboding. Once inside, we were handed a small black light to fend off the infected, an innovative twist.

The rickety “elevator” transported us to the depths of the asylum, where the scare actors awaited. Each room presented a new nightmare, expertly crafted to maximize scares. The standout moment for me was the haunting funeral scene, featuring a live cello player – an unsettling masterpiece.

All Saints Lunatic Asylum delivers:

  • Immersive atmosphere and setting
  • Creative set design
  • Talented actors and interactive scenes
  • Unique elements like the black light and live music

If you dare, visit All Saints Lunatic Asylum this Halloween season:
