A Blockbuster Horror Experience at Haunted Harvest!

I recently visited Haunted Harvest at Frosty’s Forest & Pumpkin Patch in Chino, California. This 2-acre corn maze is a must-visit for horror fans.

The Hauntbuster theme, an ingenious tribute to the iconic video rental era, transported me into a nostalgic yet nightmarish world. The facade, designed to resemble an old Blockbuster, set the tone for a thrilling experience.

Scene highlights included:

  • The video store shelves overflowing with horror movie titles created a nostalgic atmosphere.
  • The newest addition, an arcade scene, was a standout – the retro vibes and sudden scares were well-executed.
  • Navigating the actual cornfield, with menacing characters lurking in the shadows, added an unsettling layer to the experience.

The actors’ dedication to their craft was evident in every scene. Their energy and commitment to scaring enhanced the overall experience.

Logistics:

  • Tickets are sold in-person only at Frosty’s Forest ($30 General Admission, $45 Fast Pass).
  • Be aware of the additional fee for pumpkin patch entry in order to get access to the haunt.
  • You will be in a cornfield with uneven ground.
  • There are other things to do in the pumpkin patch so leave extra time to explore before or after the haunt.

Haunted Harvest delivers a solid, scary experience with multiple enclosed scenes throughout.

Visit Haunted Harvest for a scary good time!

*I attended media night.
